Bread, particularly wholemeal bread, is a good source of dietary fibre, which helps to keep our digestive system healthy, regulates blood sugar and cholesterol levels, and keeps us feeling fuller for longer.

STORAGE CONDITION

Plastic or foil (rather than cloth) are the best alternatives for keeping bread at room temperature for a day or two. You may, of course, wrap your bread in plastic wrap or a reusable wrap.
